Meet Ella

Tattooing is such a unique and meaningful art form, and I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of it. Tattoos allow people to express themselves, feel more connected to their memories, identities, and experiences, and carry those stories with them in a permanent way. I love the diversity in the reasons why people choose to get tattooed—it means I get to meet so many fascinating individuals and be part of something deeply personal to them.

I’m still in the process of discovering my own style, and I really value the opportunity to explore different approaches to tattooing. Right now, my work leans toward fine line, illustrative, and neo-traditional designs in both black and grey and color. I believe that trying a variety of styles is the best way to grow as an artist, and I’m always excited to take on new challenges.

Some of my favorite subjects to tattoo are botanicals, animals, and designs inspired by nature with surreal or eerie elements, like creatures with multiple eyes or limbs. Lately, I’ve especially enjoyed designing filler tattoos and freehand pieces—drawing directly on the skin to create tattoos that flow naturally with someone’s anatomy has become one of my favorite creative processes.

I’ve been tattooing professionally for just over a year and am currently in my second year in the industry. It’s still early in my journey, but every tattoo teaches me something new, and I’m so excited to keep growing.

When I’m not tattooing, you’ll likely find me drawing at home with my cats, relaxing with a chai latte, or wandering through nature—especially if there’s moss around (I’m a big believer in the healing power of moss). My days off are usually a mix of slow mornings, art, and spending time with the people and places that inspire me.
